We're looking for a Behavioral Health Technician to work in the Healthcare Systems and Services industry in McKinney, Texas, United States.

Are you a compassionate caregiver with at least a high school diploma (or GED) residing in McKinney, TX?

Centria Health is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians to work one-on-one with children and families with autism. Your responsibilities will include implementing learning programs, collecting data on behaviors, communicating with stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality, and collaborating with your supervisor. You will build trust within the child's home environment, located within 15 minutes of your residence.

Our comprehensive paid behavioral health training will prepare you to support children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), guiding their developmental growth and managing challenging behaviors under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will utilize evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

What your day will look like:

• Providing one-on-one developmental and behavioral support in the child's home, adapting techniques to various behaviors and styles.
• Partnering with a BCBA to implement individualized behavioral intervention plans, which may include physical and mental exercises.
• Engaging actively with children using evidence-based techniques, involving physical activities such as standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and carrying children or objects up to 50 pounds.
