Job summary

NeighborHealth is seeking a Behavioral Health Patient Access Coordinator to support registration for Behavioral Health services. The role splits time between a school-based setting and central registration workspaces, reporting to the Patient Access Manager.

The ideal candidate brings a High School diploma, 1+ year healthcare experience, bilingual English/Spanish, and strong communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience in health care, preferably in Behavioral Health or School-Based setting.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to interact with individuals at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Check-in / check-out.
• Verify insurances.
• Collect accurate demographics.
• Document collection schedule appointments.
• Assist patients/families needing help in obtaining/renewing insurance coverage.
