PeaceHealth in Oregon seeks a Patient Access Representative - Behavioral Health Young Adult for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. The role supports scheduling, insurance verification and pre-certification as a clinical liaison with physician practices during pre-visit services.

You will pre-register patients, collect balances, verify insurance and procure prior authorizations as needed, while answering inquiries and supporting coverage across the department.

Formación

• High School Diploma Preferred or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year medical office or related customer service experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Pre-registers/registers patients with accurate demographic and financial data.
• Collects patient balances, co-payments and coinsurance.
• Verifies coverage and obtains prior authorizations or referrals when needed.
• Responds to customer inquiries and supports scheduling and pre-visit services.
• Assist with departmental coverage and manage daily appointment schedules.
