Essentia Health in Fargo seeks an Operations Manager to lead behavioral health teams, improving patient access and driving high-quality clinical outcomes. You will guide staff, monitor engagement, and support recruitment and retention initiatives.

This onsite role requires a bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare leadership (or RN with bachelor’s progression) and at least 3 years of healthcare experience, plus a proven ability to manage schedules, coaching, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• 3 years of healthcare experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare leadership or clinical healthcare field OR Associate’s degree in nursing and ability to obtain bachelor’s degree within 3 years from date of hire.
• Experience with staff scheduling and productivity metrics is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manages fill rates and physician/APP schedules and templates daily.
• Oversees in-reach and out-reach efforts as relevant to assigned practices.
• Implements actions to improve employee engagement and standard work to achieve quality metrics.
• Provides coaching and development conversations for all team members.
• Acts as escalation point for patient access to care and participates in improvement activities.
