Job summary

Avera Behavioral Health Center-Sioux Falls is seeking an experienced program operations leader to oversee day-to-day management of the behavioral health program. This role coordinates clinical, operational, and administrative teams to promote quality care and regulatory compliance.

The position requires active licenses (RN, social worker or LPC or psychologist) and strong leadership, hiring, training, and budgeting skills. Work hours are primarily weekdays with occasional evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must hold active licensure in the state of practice (RN, Social Worker, LPC or Psychologist).
• Experience leading clinical/operational teams and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day program operations and budgeting.
• Coordinate clinical, operational, and administrative teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Act as primary contact for community partners, leadership, and external funding bodies.
• Maintain knowledge of clinical concepts and evidence-based practices to enhance services.
