Job summary

You will provide leadership to staff, monitor engagement, and drive recruitment and retention initiatives with direction from senior leadership.

The role focuses on staffing according to volumes, implementing strategic priorities, coaching teams, and supporting improvement activities.

Qualifications

• 3 years of healthcare experience, preferably in a clinical setting or completion of administrative fellowship through Essentia Health fellowship program.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare leadership or clinical healthcare field.
• Associate’s degree in nursing with ability to obtain bachelor’s degree within 3 years from date of hire.

• Manages fill rates, physician and advanced practice provider schedules and templates daily.
• Manages in reach or out reach as relevant to assigned practices.
• Implements actions to improve employee engagement.
• Ensures standard work is implemented to achieve quality metrics.
• Provides coaching, feedback and ensures development conversations for all team members.
• Serves as escalation point for patient access to care.
• Participates in PDSA's and other improvement activities.
• Provides input into long-range financial planning, program development and capital planning process.

The Operations Manager leads our Behavioral Health teams to ensure optimal patient access, clinical quality and financial outcomes. Provides leadership to assigned colleagues, monitors engagement, recruitment and retention best practices, and initiatives. The Manager is responsible for achieving financial targets related to staff productivity, physician and advanced practice productivity, and ensures assigned areas are staffed according to volumes. Implements strategic priorities and executes assigned work with direction and guidance from leadership.

Location Details:

This is a fully onsite position with travel required to the locations below. This individual will have a primary office location in Fargo, though we would be open to a candidate sitting out of Bismarck.
