Job summary

Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System is a 140-bed hospital providing inpatient services for adolescents and adults, with a focus on mental health and substance use treatment. Qualifications

• Graduate degree in social work or mental health/behavioral sciences or related field.
• Currently licensed to practice as an RN in Kentucky.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and clinical information and patient evaluations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, patients, referral sources and staff from various disciplines.
• CPR certification and completion of HWC within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assists in patient admissions procedures, vital signs, and prepares patients for diagnostic exams.
• Identifies and reports self-harm risk to ensure patient safety.
• Demonstrates understanding of mental health concepts and treatment goals.
• Completes documentation clearly reflecting patient goals and treatment plans.
