Job summary

Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System is a 140-bed hospital providing inpatient services for adolescents, adults, military personnel, veterans and first responders in Kentucky. The Unit Manager will lead a professional team and provide compassionate, hands-on support addressing patients' physical, social, and behavioral needs.

You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with accreditation standards, and maintain quality care within the patient care unit.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice nursing in Kentucky (or eligible to receive or renew).
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged 5-65yrs+.

Responsibilities

• Current license to practice nursing in Kentucky (or eligible to receive or renew).

• Responsible for the overall functioning of the patient care unit
• Assigns appropriate numbers and mix of staff as guided by the staffing plan based on census and patient acuity.
• Responsible for directing and supervising staff in all clinical and administrative matters, ensuring that accreditation standards, practice standards, and policies and procedures are followed and maintained.
