Springwoods Behavioral Health in Fayetteville, AR is seeking a Full Time Financial Counselor to explain insurance benefits and collect upfront payments. The role involves reviewing past due accounts, identifying delinquencies, and promoting a positive patient experience.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in collections, strong knowledge of insurance terms, and experience with EMR systems. This position supports revenue cycle in a behavioral health setting.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of collections experience required.
• Experience in follow up with insurance companies, verifications, and healthcare preferred.
• Working knowledge of insurance terms, reimbursement procedures, medical terminology and hospital services preferred.
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a high-volume setting is required.
• Experience with computerized accounting or EMR systems required.
• Positive attitude and a team player.
