Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians in Maryland to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized plans and use evidence-based methods to improve communication, social and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

This position offers training, teamwork, and a pay range of $20–$26 per hour with opportunities to advance in a structured behavioral health career at Centria Autism.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• High school diploma or GED; ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test; pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Participate in daily activities; join a dedicated team to support each child and family.
• Ability to move and lift as needed; maintain safety for client and self.
