Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans under a BCBA, using evidence-based methods to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

We provide comprehensive training and require certification after onboarding. Expect to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 50 pounds, and to work in a supportive team focused on improving outcomes for children with autism.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion in interactions with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
• 18+ years of age and valid education credentials.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test (within last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Contribute to a supportive team and maintain accurate records as required.
