Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing behavior plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will apply evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• Age 18+ years.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend).
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and support children to reach their full potential.
• Contribute to a supportive team environment and participate in training as provided.
