Job summary

Centria is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized plans under a BCBA. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques and support families daily.

The role requires patience, compassion, and teamwork with comprehensive training provided. Expect a physically active environment with children weighing up to 50 pounds and a pay range of $20–$24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Requires caring for children with autism.
• Must be able to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors while promoting skill acquisition.
• Join a collaborative team and support families in achieving meaningful outcomes.
