Centria Healthcare in Frederick, MD is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, applying evidence-based techniques to build communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training. The role involves standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and a pay range of $20–$26 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if not done in last year).
• Ability to pass a preemployment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Work one-on-one with children implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors.
• Participate in comprehensive training provided by the company.
• Move and assist physically up to 50 pounds as needed.
