Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement behavior plans, teach communication and social skills, and help reduce challenging behaviors. Training is provided to prepare you for this impactful role.

The position involves standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds, with a pay range of $18–$25 per hour. Join a dedicated team making a real difference in children’s lives.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year).
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain an Registered Behavior Technician Certification after completing onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Sitting down and standing up from the floor or chair many times throughout the work day.
• Occasionally lifting up to 50lbs.
• Running or moving quickly as needed to interact with, and for the safety and protection of your client(s).
