Job summary

MeBe Family is seeking a compassionate Behavior Technician to support children with autism in home or at our Learning Center. You’ll work 1:1 with kids, follow BCBA plans, and help develop communication and daily living skills.

You’ll record progress in Central Reach, clock in/out per ABA guidelines, assist with routines, and collaborate with families and supervisors to deliver consistent, high-quality care. MeBe provides paid training to become an RBT and ongoing mentorship.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• RBT/CBT certification preferred; must obtain RBT/CBT certification within 60 days of employment (MeBe will help you).
• Prefer a background in child care; teaching, counseling, babysitting.
• Ability to frequently bend, lift up to 50 lbs, squat, sit, stand, and/or run with reasonable accommodations.
• Must pass a background check and be able to work with computers.

Responsibilities

• You'll teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting at home or MeBe’s Learning Center.
• Follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs to improve communication, self-help, social and play skills.
• Relay progress to BCBAs and assist with BCBA assessments.
