Job summary

MeBe, a provider of evidence-based therapies for children with autism, is seeking a compassionate Behavior Technician in Carlsbad, CA. You will work 1:1 with ke��y children, following BCBA plans, and contribute to a supportive learning environment.

Paid training to become an RBT is offered, with strong emphasis on teamwork, meticulous data recording in Central Reach, and collaboration with Supervisors to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• You must be available Monday through Friday; part-time shifts available.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• RBT certification preferred; must obtain within 45 days.
• TRICARE certification preferred.
• Prefer a background in child care; teaching, counseling, babysitting.
• Ability to pass a background check and work with computers.
• Must obtain CPR/BLS certification before working with clients.

Responsibilities

• Teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting.
• Follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs to improve communication and play skills.
• Relay progress to BCBAs and assist with BCBA assessments.
• Record behavior analyses and progress in Central Reach after each session.
• Clock in/out and submit notes in accordance with ABA and provider rules.
• Keep the workplace organized, safe, and clean.
• Assist with lunch, bathroom, and diaper changes.
• Help with projects as directed by Site Director and Supervisors.
• Voice questions/concerns to supervisors and co-own treatment planning.
• Build positive relationships with families while maintaining boundaries.
• Contribute to MeBe Family culture.
