Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with kids, implementing individualized behavior plans under a BCBA and teaching vital skills using evidence-based methods.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children using behavior intervention plans under a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Support a team environment and participate in comprehensive training.
• Assist with activities that require standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
