Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will apply evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

Training is provided; candidates should be passionate, patient, team players, and at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team.
• 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willing to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test.
• Pass pre-employment background check.
• Able to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors.
