Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children who have autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans, teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques, and support reducing challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Centria Autism Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding

Responsibilities

• One-on-one work with children to implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Support children to reduce interfering behaviors and achieve goals.
