Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized plans under the supervision of a BCBA to build communication, social, and daily living skills.

The role emphasizes patience, compassion, and teamwork, with comprehensive training provided. The job involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds, with a meaningful impact on children and families.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age and legal to work.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test when needed.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Must be able to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs).
• Candidate will obtain a Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, supportive, and engaging environment; collaborate with the BCBA and team.
