Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum under the supervision of a BCBA. The role emphasizes teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based strategies to reduce challenging behaviors.

Candidates should be patient, compassionate, and capable of performing physical tasks to assist children, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18+ years of age requirement.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with team and participate in training to support children and families.
