Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians who will support children with autism and help them reach their full potential. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to build communication, social, and daily living skills while managing challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Assist in reducing interfering behaviors and supporting kids in daily activities.
• Collaborate with the team to provide consistent, high-quality care.
