Job summary

United Therapy Center (UTC) is hiring a Behavior Technician to support individuals with autism and related developmental disabilities in Riverside, CA. You will implement individualized behavior plans, use DTT and naturalistic teaching techniques, and track client progress with accurate session notes.

No experience? Paid training and mentorship are provided. The role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth within UTC.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• RBT certification is preferred but not required.
• Experience with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check and TB test is required.
• Reliable transportation to client locations is required.

Responsibilities

• Implement Behavior Plans developed by the supervising BCBA.
• Apply behavior-analytic strategies to support clients (DTT, Naturalistic Teaching, Reinforcement).
• Accurately track client progress and submit session notes per UTC policies.
• Provide positive reinforcement and professional communication to support skill development.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, therapists, and caregivers for consistent intervention.
• Manage challenging behaviors according to individualized plans and training.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance and participate in required training.
