Kennedy Krieger Institute, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Specialist to coordinate behavioral services for students on caseload. The role involves developing and implementing Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIP), conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA), and documenting data trends for IEP teams.

Under supervision, you will train staff, monitor progress, and participate in crisis management and school-wide supports to improve classroom behavior and student outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Must achieve, possess, and maintain PCM certification within the timeline established by the department.
• Must possess and maintain CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and write reports for IEP meetings.
• Develop and update Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) for students on caseload.
• Initiate, monitor and graph data collection; share progress with classroom teams.
• Train staff on BIPs and data collection; monitor fidelity of implementation.
• Produce quarterly progress reports, annual summaries, and plan fades.
• Attend and present at IEP meetings and coordinate crisis response procedures.
• Facilitate school-wide positive behavioral supports and provide consultations as needed.
