Job summary

Kennedy Krieger Institute, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Analyst I to lead behavioral services for students, coordinating FBA/BIP development and data-driven interventions at the Fairmount Campus in Baltimore, MD.

You will work under supervision to implement crisis management procedures, train staff, and monitor progress toward behavioral goals, including support for BCBA supervision candidates.

Qualifications

• Must obtain/maintain PCM certification within department timeline.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) using interviews, logs, and observation.
• Develop and update Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) for students on caseload.
• Initiate and monitor data collection, graphing, and data analysis; share results with teams.
• Train classroom staff on BIPs and data collection; monitor fidelity of implementation.
• Produce quarterly progress reports, annual summaries, and IEP-related documents.
• Attend and present at IEP meetings; coordinate responses to behavioral crises.
• Implement school-wide positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS).
• Provide supervision/consultation for staff seeking BCBA supervision as needed.
• Complete required documentation of contacts with parents, transportation, and other agencies.
