Formación

• Certification as Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
• Maryland licensure as a Licensed Behavior Analyst is required.
• Professional Crisis Management (PCM) Practitioner 2 level certification within department timeline required.
• CPR certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and write FBA reports; present at teams including IEP meetings.
• Develop and update Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) for students on caseload and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Initiate and monitor data collection; summarize, graph, and share data with classroom teams.
• Train classroom staff on BIP implementation and data collection; monitor fidelity.
• Provide progress reports and attend IEP meetings; coordinate responses to behavioral crises.
• Facilitate school-wide PBIS and crisis management procedures; provide guidance to staff.
