Job summary

The Kennedy Krieger Institute, Powder Mill campus in Beltsville, MD is seeking a Behavior Associate to support Classroom, Behavioral Services, and Mental Health staff. • CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross required.
• RBT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide programmatic classroom coverage as assigned.
• Respond to behavioral crises per school-wide procedures.
• Implement IEP-stated behavioral goals and BIPs.
• Document and maintain records for students and incidents.
• Support behavioral services data collection and reporting.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure program policies are followed.
• Assist with FBAs/BIPs development and maintenance.
• Communicate with the clinical team about caseload issues.
• Support training on behavior and crisis management.
