Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) seeks a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs in in-district classrooms and standalone schools.

You will implement behavior plans, collect data, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include working one-on-one with students, assisting in plan development, recording progress, and using de-escalation techniques.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Experience in educational settings with intensive behavioral needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with an assigned student to meet IEP goals and provide accommodations.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Record and track data on behaviors, progress toward goals, and incidents.
• Utilize behavior support strategies and de-escalation techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to implement plans consistently.
• Provide personal care support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
