Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is hiring a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs in in-district classrooms or standalone schools. You will partner with teachers to implement individualized plans.

Daily duties include one-on-one student support, data collection, behavior plan modification, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. The role emphasizes PBIS CASE framework, inclusive environment, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in educational settings implementing behavioral interventions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with students to meet goals in their IEPs and provide accommodations as needed.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Record and track data on behaviors, progress toward goals, and incidents.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and, if necessary, crisis management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent plan implementation.
• Provide personal care support as needed and communicate with parents.
