Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) seeks a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs under an individualized education plan (IEP).

You will work one-on-one, implement behavior supports, and contribute to a multidisciplinary team delivering holistic guidance within SESI classrooms. You will collaborate with educators and specialists, document progress, and help maintain safe, inclusive learning environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Experience with behavioral interventions in an educational setting preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse students and implement IEP goals.

Responsibilities

• Support assigned student one-on-one to meet IEP goals with appropriate accommodations.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans; record and track data on behaviors and progress.
• Utilize behavior support and de-escalation strategies.
• Provide personal care support as needed and communicate with parents.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent plan implementation.
