Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs in K-12 settings. You will work one-on-one with an assigned student, assisting with IEP goals, behavior support plans, and data recording to monitor progress.

Join a multidisciplinary team, providing individualized support, de-escalation when necessary, and collaboration with parents to promote inclusive learning and safety across classrooms.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing behavioral interventions in educational settings is preferred.
• High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Work one on one with an assigned student to meet IEP goals and provide accommodations.
• Develop and modify behavior support plans and implement them; record data and progress toward goals.
• Utilize behavior support techniques and de-escalation strategies to ensure safety.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent implementation of plans.
• Provide personal care support as needed and communicate with parents.
