Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) seeks a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs in K-12 settings. You will work under multidisciplinary teams to implement individualized behavior plans and help students build essential life skills.

Responsibilities include direct student support, data recording, collaboration with parents and staff, and adherence to PBIS practices. This is an entry-level role focused on student growth and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in an educational setting implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one on one with an assigned student to meet goals in their IEP.
• Provide accommodations and modifications as necessary.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Record and track data on behaviors, progress toward goals, and incidents.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and crisis management to maintain safety.
