Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs within in-district classrooms or standalone schools.

You will work one-on-one under IEP goals, assist in behavior support plan implementation, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic guidance. You will operate in a setting with diverse learners, using PBIS framework CASE and data-driven methods to track progress and ensure safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in educational settings with intensive behavioral needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one on one with an assigned student per IEP, providing accommodations and modifications.
• Assist in developing and modifying behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support strategies and record progress data.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure consistency of plans.
• Provide personal care support as needed and communicate with parents.
