Job summary

YMCA of the North Shore is seeking a Before & After School Site Coordinator in Haverhill, MA. You will lead a team to provide a safe, inclusive environment for elementary students and oversee daily program operations, staff coaching, and family partnerships.

The role offers year-round work with summer leadership in Y Day Camp, emphasizing mentorship, community impact, and growth within a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 20 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must meet MA EEC qualifications for a Site Coordinator.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience leading youth programs, activities, or groups.
• Ability to create a positive, engaging environment for children and families.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support your team to deliver high-quality, enriching activities.
• Ensure program safety and compliance with licensed childcare regulations.
• Build strong connections with students and families.
