Job summary

YMCA of Greater Providence seeks a Site Coordinator for the Before & After School Program in South Kingstown, RI. You will oversee daily operations, ensure child safety, and supervise staff to deliver a high-quality, academically aligned program.

Responsibilities include planning activities, collecting data, maintaining licensing paperwork, coordinating meals, and engaging families while modeling inclusive, professional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field with 1+ year of supervised experience with school-age children.
• Associates degree in education or related field with 2+ years of supervised experience with school-age children.
• Certifications required before working with children: RI DHS/MA EEC prerequisites.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise a high-quality, age-appropriate program for school-age children.
• Develop activities during school breaks and holidays.
• Collect and maintain data on participants' growth and outcomes.
• Supervise staff and provide performance reviews with the Program Director.
• Promote inclusion, equity, and positive behavior management.
• Set and enforce safe limits for children using positive reinforcement.
