Job summary

South Shore YMCA is seeking a part-time SACC Site Coordinator in Hanover, MA to plan and operate an Afterschool program for school-aged children. The role includes overseeing a site, supervising staff, and ensuring licensing and safety standards are met.

Hours are up to 29 per week, with a focus on delivering high-quality programming, engaging families, and promoting YMCA values. CPR/First Aid may be provided, with a strong emphasis on inclusion and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Must meet EEC requirements and be able to liaise with licensing bodies.
• Experience with school-age children is required as specified (see education options).
• Ability to develop positive relationships with families, staff and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and operation of one Afterschool site and support additional sites.
• Ensure compliance with EEC licensing procedures and QRIS standards.
• Supervise program staff and volunteers, providing direction as needed.
• Engage families and members, building a supportive YMCA community.
• Collaborate with the Afterschool Director on program quality and safety.
