Job summary

Old Colony YMCA in Hanson, MA is seeking a Site Coordinator to lead our School Age program. You will supervise a team, connect with families, ensure safety, and create engaging activities that support children's development.

Under the School Age Director, you’ll manage daily operations, maintain compliance with EEC regulations and YMCA policies, and help grow enrollment while modeling YMCA values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.

Qualifications

• Age 20 or older.
• B.S./B.A. in related field, or HS diploma with 1 year school-age experience.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required.
• Evidence of physical examination within last 12 months.
• Negative Mantoux TB test and immunity for measles, mumps, and rubella.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and to sit/stand for extended periods.
• Availability to work mornings, late afternoons, and some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily school-age activities under guidance of the School Age Director.
• Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities and ensure safety and inclusion.
• Maintain documentation, attendance, and compliance with policies.
• Communicate with parents and partners to support enrollment and program quality.
• Coordinate staffing with site leadership and manage program operations.
