Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools is seeking a Before and After School Leader to assist the program director in planning and implementing high‑quality child care. You will help develop positive relations with families and the school community while supporting daily operations of before/after care and full-day programming.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and knowledge of childcare best practices, with duties that emphasize safety, planning, and program improvement.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• Must be age 18 or over.
• Experience working with children in group settings.
• CPR/First Aid Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Follow and enforce Colorado licensing requirements.
• Supervise and engage with students daily.
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, staff and district.
• Maintain safe conditions for students and staff.
• Promote and market the program for before/after care and full days.
• Assist to create and implement quality lesson plans.
