Cherry Creek Careers is seeking a Before and After School Leader to assist the program director in planning and implementing the child care program. The role emphasizes developing community relations and promoting quality programming for students and families.

The position is non-exempt and supports licensing compliance, supervision of students, and collaboration with the director to deliver engaging activities and safe learning environments.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• Leader must be age 18 or over.
• Must have at least one qualification: 3+ months care experience or Early childhood credential level I.
• Annual training: June 1 through May 31, at least 15 clock hours.
• Knowledge of most aspects of childcare.
• Ability to develop and utilize appropriate discipline procedures.
• Some leadership and management skill.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist the program director to plan and implement the child care program.
• Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele.
• Assists director and/or assistant director to prepare and implement quality programming.
• Follows licensing requirements daily and ensures safe conditions for students.
• Engage with parents, students, staff, and co-workers to maintain effective communication.
