Cherry Creek Careers is seeking an attentive Before and After School Support Leader in Colorado. You will assist students with special education needs, implement programming, and help generalize learned skills.

The role involves coordinating with the program director to maintain progress records and ensure safety and compliance with licensing requirements. You will work with children in a structured after-school setting, delivering individual and small-group support across daily activities while

Competenze

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to develop and utilize appropriate discipline procedures.
• Some leadership and management skill.
• Ability to make appropriate decisions and to solve problems effectively.
• Knowledge of most aspects of childcare.
• Must be age 18 or over.

Mansioni

• Follows and enforces all licensing requirements; assist with programming delivery for individuals and small groups.
• Provide technical physical care for children with special needs as assigned, including toileting, grooming, feeding, and positioning; administer medication as needed.
• Implement accommodations and behavior strategies outlined in each child’s plan; maintain progress and behavior records with the program director.
• Maintain and uphold all safety protocols; reinforce appropriate behavior and support social interactions.
• Assist director and staff in preparing programming materials, attendance, and documentation; support events such as fire drills.
• Exhibits excellent communication with parents, students, staff, and coworkers; maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Attend and participate in professional development trainings required by licensing and district.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
