Job summary

The Cherry Creek School District is seeking a Before and After School Leader to assist the program director in planning and delivering high‑quality child care services within the district. Responsibilities include supervising students, promoting the program to parents and staff, and contributing to continuous improvement of daily lessons and field trips.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• The leader must be age 18 or over.
• Experience with children; ability to supervise groups.
• Training hours: 15 clock hours annually (June 1–May 31).
• Knowledge of childcare basics; ability to use appropriate discipline procedures.
• Leadership and management capability; strong communication skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Follows and enforces Colorado licensing requirements daily.
• Supervises and engages with students during program times.
• Communicates effectively with parents, students, staff, and community.
• Maintains safe conditions for students and staff.
• Markets the program for before/after care and full days.
