Boston Beer Company is seeking an energetic field sales professional to drive growth across our retail portfolio. You will manage accounts, promote products, and upgrade offerings in bars, restaurants, liquor stores, and grocery outlets.

The role requires a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel across the market. Expect weekends, holidays, and occasional training trips as part of the job.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of proven results-oriented experience in outside sales or within the food & beverage industry.
• Intense competitive spirit with an assertive, confident personality.
• Valid driver's license.
• Registered and insured vehicle.
• Ability to drive continuously to and from accounts.
• Ability to lift and move cases of beer frequently.
• Ability to climb, kneel, and stoop frequently to arrange and display point-of-sale materials.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell the entire Boston Beer Company product portfolio to retailers.
• Focus on selling products and upgrading the number of product lines in retail accounts.
• Identify major accounts and develop plans to establish business with them.
• Improve account conditions and merchandising by building displays, resetting coolers, and displaying POS items.
• Partner with distributors to ensure orders are placed and accounts grow.
• Conduct tastings and promotions for waitstaff and bartenders.
• Travel regularly throughout the market to service retailers and wholesalers.
• Work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Travel occasionally for meetings and training.
• Work in varying conditions due to customer-facing nature.
