Job summary

Boston Beer Company in the Minneapolis market is seeking an outside sales representative to grow retailer accounts, promote the portfolio, and upgrade product lines in bars, liquor stores, and grocery outlets.

You will build displays, coordinate with distributors, conduct tastings, and travel regularly within the market, including occasional weekends. A valid driver’s license and vehicle are required; Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of proven results-oriented outside sales or food & beverage experience.
• Valid driver's license and a registered, insured vehicle.
• Ability to drive to accounts continuously and lift/move cases of beer.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell the Boston Beer Company portfolio to retail accounts.
• Expand product lines in bars, restaurants, and stores; upgrade merchandising.
• Identify major accounts not currently selling BBC products and develop plans to establish business.
• Improve account merchandising with displays, resets, and POS items.
• Partner with distributors to ensure orders, deliveries, and growth.
• Conduct tastings, beer education, and promotions for staff and customers.
• Travel within the market to service retailers and wholesalers; some weekend/holiday work.
