• Ability to supervise and train staff.
• Excellent guest service and selling skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs constantly.
• Must be 18+ and able to work in a cold environment.
• Strong reading comprehension and basic computer skills.
• Retail management or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive polite greetings and friendly service.
• Meet budgeted sales, shrink, and gross profits for Beef Shoppe and seafood.
• Prepare meat products (cutting, slicing, trimming, wrapping, weighing, pricing) per standards.
• Maintain inventory and ordering to ensure in-stock conditions.
• Operate department per merchandising programs and guidelines.
• Maintain high quality and freshness; ensure products are in date.
• Maintain safety and sanitation in meat/seafood areas, prep areas, coolers, freezers, and sales floor.
• Provide guidance and training to Beef Shoppe staff for satisfactory performance.
• Perform product prep, receiving, stocking, and guest service as needed.
• Manage department labor budget and scheduling to maximize sales and guest service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
