Job summary

Lowes Foods is seeking a Beef Shoppe Manager to supervise the beef shoppe/seafood department, ensuring guest service, merchandising and department operations meet company standards and sales goals. The role includes assuming department manager duties when absent and leading staff toward high performance.

You will manage inventory, ensure product quality and safety, and drive department profitability while maintaining Lowes Foods standards across operations and guest interactions.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and selling skills to engage guests.
• Ability to supervise and train staff.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience with meat/seafood operations is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and creates a selling environment.
• Achieves budgeted sales, shrink, and gross profits for the Beef Shoppe and seafood departments.
• Prepare products for sale (meat cutting, slicing, trimming, wrapping, weighing, pricing).
• Maintain inventory and ensure in-stock conditions and proper ordering.
• Operate the department according to merchandising and operational programs.
• Maintain high quality and freshness and ensure products are in date.
• Uphold safety and sanitation standards in all areas related to meat/seafood.
• Provide guidance and training to staff for satisfactory performance.
• Perform product prep, receiving, stocking, and guest service as needed.
• Manage labor budget and optimize scheduling to maximize sales and guest service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
