Job summary

The role requires strong interpersonal and selling skills, the ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally, and work in a cold environment. Prior supervision experience in meat/seafood is preferred.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal and selling skills; outgoing personality.
• Ability to supervise staff including training and development.
• Must lift 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs continuously.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work in a cold environment.
• Knowledge of meat/seafood products and operations.
• Able to read and follow information and directions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive polite greetings and friendly interactions.
• Achieve budgeted sales, shrink, and gross profits for beef/seafood.
• Prepare products (cutting, slicing, wrapping, weighing, pricing).
• Maintain inventory and stock levels; proper ordering.
• Operate department per merchandising and program guidelines.
• Maintain product quality, freshness, and in-date items.
• Ensure safety and sanitation in all meat/seafood areas.
• Provide guidance, training, and feedback to staff.
• Perform product prep, receiving, stocking, and guest service as needed.
• Manage labor budget and schedule optimum hours.
