Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and selling skills required.
• Ability to work with others and interact with guests.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs constantly.
• Ability to read and understand information and directions.
• Knowledge of meat/seafood products and operations.
• Experience supervising staff including training and development.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work in a cold environment.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive polite greetings and a selling environment.
• Achieve budgeted sales, shrink, and gross profit for Beef Shoppe and seafood.
• Prepare products for sale per Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain inventory and proper ordering for in-stock conditions.
• Operate the department according to merchandising and operational programs.
• Maintain high quality and freshness with in-date products.
• Provide guidance, orientation, training, and feedback to staff.
• Perform product prep, receiving, stocking, and guest service as needed.
• Maintain the department's labor budget and schedule optimal hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
