Job summary

Lowes Foods in Wendell, NC is seeking a Beef Shoppe Manager to supervise the beef shoppe and seafood department and drive maximum sales. You will ensure guest service, proper merchandising, and department operations while acting in the department manager's absence.

Responsibilities include product preparation, inventory management, price accuracy, safety and sanitation, staff training, and budget-conscious scheduling to optimize guest experience and profitability.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and selling skills are required.
• Ability to train and develop staff and supervise others.
• Ability to read and follow directions, and operate a computer.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Beef Shoppe and Seafood departments to meet sales goals.
• Ensure polite guest greetings and create a selling environment.
• Prepare products for sale (meat cutting, slicing, trimming, weighing, pricing).
• Maintain inventory and ordering to keep in stock.
• Operate department according to merchandising programs and guidelines.
• Maintain product quality and freshness, ensure in-date items.
• Ensure safety and sanitation in all meat/seafood prep areas.
• Provide guidance, orientation, and training to staff.
• Perform product prep, stocking, and guest service as needed.
• Manage labor budget and schedule optimal hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
