Job summary

Ulta Beauty, Inc. is seeking an Experience Manager to lead a team of stylists and guest coordinators, delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving sales across services and boutiques.

You will manage makeup, skincare consultations, and product demonstrations, ensuring adherence to brand standards and attendance policies. The role requires a drive for results, passion for beauty, and the ability to coach and develop a diverse team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Cosmetology license and/or a cosmetology management license where required by state law
• 2-3+ years relevant, fast-paced retail management experience
• Financial management: driving top-line sales, interpreting reporting data, managing payroll budgets
• Cosmetology management: advanced competency in services, guest experience, and product attachment; knowledge of Board of Cosmetology regulations
• Retail management: ability with monitoring inventory levels, achieving operational excellence, driving a service culture, and executing merchandise directives
• Leadership management: experience with attracting, developing, and motivating top talent, swiftly adapting to change and leading others through the change-curve

Responsibilities

• Promote accountability to meet store goals related to services, boutiques, retail sales, guest loyalty, payroll, omni-channel, and shrink.
• Drive profitability through operational excellence and top-line sales growth.
• Leverage forecast and payroll budgets to optimize staffing and scheduling.
• Address underperforming metrics by developing improvement strategies.
• Support direct reports in developing clientele.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Stay informed on industry trends and be knowledgeable about ingredients and benefits.
• Maintain prompt attendance and enforce attendance policy.
